===== Term Edit Weighting =====
The Term Weighting edit page allows users to select [[stats_concepts#statsid|Stats Sets]] to link to a Term, edit their weightings and Calculate term results.  Note: User permissions might be restricted by [[security_edit_forms|Form permissions]], [[security_edit_banks|Bank permissions]] or the record being [[concepts#Record Locking|locked]].

==== Selecting Stats Sets ====
The Term Edit Weighting page is comprised of a Stats Set selection grid on the top and a Stats Set Weighting grid on the bottom.  To select a Stats Set or Sets, click, ctril-click or shift-click rows in the Stats Set selection grid.  To learn more about selecting records click [[general_navigation_grids#Selecting Records|here]]. 

Once a Stats Set or Sets are selected, click the ** Add Stats Set** button.

==== Edit Weightings ====
Once Stats Sets have been added to the Term, their weightings can be modified.  A weighting on a stats set is a modifier applied to the Stats Sets Value Total to create a weighted Value Total.  All of the Weighted Value Totals across all of the Stats sets are aggregated to create a Term Value total that the Candidates are ranked on.

To edit a Stats Set weighting, click the edit pencil on the left of the Stats Set row.  Modify the weighting and click the check mark to apply the change.  Note: Weightings are entered as values between 0 and 1.  To assign a 40% weighting enter it as 0.4.

To delete a Stats Set from the Term, click the X to the right of the Stats Set row.

==== Calculating a Term ====
Once the Stats Sets are selected and properly weighted the term canc be calculated.  To calculate the Term Results of aggregated scores and rankings, click the **Calculate Term** button.

The Term calculations may be a lengthy process depending on the volume of candidate records across the selected Stats Sets.  So, when the Term calculations start the user is redirected to a processing page.  This page will indicate process of the Term calculations.  When the process is complete, the user can then access the aggregated data from their external applications.

==== Tab Strip ====
The tab strip at the top of the page allows the user to go back to the Term entry grid [[term_entry|Selection]] or to the [[term_edit_general|General]] page.  Audit will navigate to the [[audit|Audit page]] and displays Audit information for the selected record.
