Gender Entry

The Gender Entry tool is used to create and maintain Genders. Genders are used in setting up demographic information for Candidates. Examples of Genders are “Male” and “Female”.

Authorised users may create, modify or expire Gender records.

Gender Entry is reached from the Main Menu, System → Gender Entry

This takes the user to the Gender Entry grid. For more on grid navigation, click here.

Context Options

Right-clicking on a row in the Gender grid will open a context menu.

Edit General

Navigates to the General edit page for the selected record. The Gender general edit page allows users to edit code and description information for an Gender record. Once changes are made the user can click the Save button in the bottom right hand corner to commit changes to the database. Note: User permissions might be restricted by Form permissions or the record being locked.

Tab Strip

The tab strip at the top of the page allows the user to go back to the Gender entry grid by clicking Selection tab. Audit will navigate to the Audit page and displays Audit information for the selected record.

Gender Fields

Field Description
Gender ID Will populate automatically when the Gender is created. Unique identifier of the Gender.
Description The description of the Gender .
Code A single character code for the Gender.

Audit

Navigates to the Audit grid for the selected record.
