Term Entry

The Term entry tool is used to create and maintain Terms. A Term is an aggregation of weighted Exam Stats sets. The user can Maintain the Terms Title, links to external systems and the linked Stats sets with their respective weightings. The user can also run the Term Calculations which generate the aggregated Term statistics.

Authorised users may create, modify or expire Term records.

Term Entry is reached from the Main Menu, Item Writing → Exam Tools → Term Entry

Special Filters

The Term entry grid has special filter controls in the title bar.

  • Include Expired Records by default is unchecked. This means Term records that have an Expiry Date prior to today are not displayed. When checked, all Term records (including expired) are displayed. Effective and Expiry Dates

Context Options

Right-clicking on a row in the Term grid will open a context menu.

Edit General

Navigates to Term Edit General page where the user can maintain general information for the Term record.

Edit Weightings and Calculate

Navigates to Term Edit Weighting page where the user can select the Stats sets to aggregate and set their respective weightings and also run the Term calculations.

Audit

Navigates to the Audit grid for the selected record.
