The Session Entry tool is used to create and maintain Sessions for Exams. A Session is a logical grouping of Registrants, which are Candidates taking the Exam. Sessions can be used to differentiate writing centers, different seating dates for Exams or other logical groupings such as first time writers vs repeat writers.
Authorised users may create, modify or expire Session records.
Session Entry is reached from the Exam Entry tool. Right click an Exam in the grid and choose Calculations → Session Entry.
This takes the user to the Session entry grid. For more on grid navigation, click here.
The Session entry grid has special filter controls in the title bar.
To delete a Session click the X to the right of the Session row. While the Session is deleted, all Registrants and their responses are transferred to the Archive Session.
Navigates to Session Edit page where the user can maintain information for the Session record.
Navigates to Registrations page where the user can maintain list of Registrants in the Session.
