Item edit Attachments is used to link Attachments to the selected Item. When an Attachment and Item are linked, the image or rich text prints with the Item on Exam documents and online tests. Note: User permissions might be restricted by Form permissions, Bank permissions or the record being locked.

To link an Attachment to the selected Item, click the Add Attachment button. This will open an Attachment Selector.

Select one or more Attachments from the grid, then click the Add Selected button. The Attachment Selector will close and the linked Attachments will appear in the grid. To learn more about selecting records click here.

Note: Attachments available for linking are dependant on the Status of the Attachment and Status of the items in the banks. SeeStatus and Substatus for more.

Click the pencil icon on the left of a row to edit the Item Attachment link. By editing the link you can control the size, placement and orientation of the Attachment. If multiple Attachments are linked to an Item you can also control the sequence of the Attachment.

Once in edit mode, the user can change the sequence, size, position and orientation of the Attachment. To commit changes, click the check mark on the left of the row. To cancel changes, click the X on the left of the row.
