Item Edit Meta allows the user to modify rich text Meta Type data for the Item. The user can maintain a value for each meta Type defined in item Writing. Note: User permissions might be restricted by Form permissions, Bank permissions or the record being locked.

Item Writing supports multiple languages of Item text. It also supports multiple languages for Item Meta text. To view or maintain alternate languages use the Language drop down list in the top right corner (in blue).

The Meta grid on the left lists all Meta Types and their values for the selected Item. To modify any of the values, click the Edit hyperlink to the right of the row. This will load the text into the rich text editor to the right. here, the Meta text can be modified. How to work in and around rich text editors.

Once edits are complete, click the Save button.

The tab strip at the top of the page allows the user to go back to the Item entry grid Selection, to the Item Edit General page, to the Item Edit Text page, to the Item Edit Value page, to the Item Edit Competency page, to the Item Edit Reference page,to the Item Edit Attachment page, to the Item Edit Statistics page or Usage page. Audit will navigate to the Audit page and displays Audit information for the selected record. Note: depending on system configuration not all options are available.
